Samyoga Deepa

Guess against guess makes fight; but talk of what you have been, and no human heart can resist it." These fiery words of Swami Vivekananda reveal the importance of ‘being and becoming’ rather than merely talking or discussing about religion. Experience of even a tiny drop of the ocean of Divine Bliss ( Bhagavadananda) propels one to dive deeper in Sadhana and reach the ultimate goal of realization of God. ‘Samyoga Deepa’ is a penance of 11 days which, if followed strictly, cleanses our heart-mind complex and gives us a taste of nectar of divine bliss.

Divine Park interprets religion as a way of life without distinction of sacred and secular. Samyoga deepa gives simple yet profound spiritual disciplines that a spiritual aspirant can practise in his or her daily routine for at least 11 consecutive days. A few of such disciplines are listed below...

- Absence of anger, suspicion and jealousy; Never to be rude, rash and be dejected in daily routine.
- Never to utter cries of dejection and despair
- To have smile, simplicity and shrewdness always in all ways
- To feel for all; never condemn or criticise others...
- To start and end the daily routine from the shrine only.
- To report humbly the daily regiment to GOD at bed time.
- To offer all appreciation, name fame completely to GOD then and there only..
- To read holy books at least for 30 minutes daily.
- Accept truly all criticizm and introspect and correct yourself without getting upset.
- Get elated quite often only with positive autosuggestions.
- Complete the daily sadhana consisting of meditation of 24 mins, 10 times Sri Ramaraksha Stotram, and 22 times of Likhita Japa without fail with at least a drop of tear of gratefulness.
- Be service-minded and helpful to all...

All participants of ‘Sanyoga Deepa’ also attend satsangs together daily for 11 days and renew each other’s inspiration. Eleven days of penance forge these qualities deep within , and make us practise them naturally for the rest of our lives. Thus Samyoga deepa transform us inside out leading us on the grand highway towards a blissful life within and without.

Thought for the Day

The mind is a bad master, but a good servant. Mend it by simple Naama, Neema, Prema and introduce it to your chosen deity, the living force within.

You are living because God is not leaving
